  1. Long Text Field

We have introduced a new field named 'Long Text' that can be added to case notes templates. It allows the superuser to control the line height (number of rows) for this field to improve the user experience when completing a case note.

  • Create and edit a new template, to include the new field.

  • Add a new field - and choose Long Text.

  • Here you can set the rows to define the height.

  • If you publish that template you can use it and then see the long text fields.

Case Note Template Builder:

Case Note 'Long Text' field:

  1. Save Behaviour

Previously, when writing a case note, all of the mandatory fields needed to be completed before the case note would save. We are updating this behaviour so that the case note will save regardless of the mandatory information being completed.

To ensure the user is aware of the outstanding updates required, the case note will be marked with an 'incomplete' label. Once all of the mandatory fields are completed, the label will be removed.

  1. Case Note Title

When writing a case note and selecting a template to use, the case note template name will now automatically populate the title field of the case note. You can still edit or update the name of the case note if required.

  • When selecting a template

  • The 'Title for this Note' field is updated to match the name of the template

  • i.e. 'Sample New Note' in the below example

  1. 'Sort by' enhancement for case notes:

Ability to change the sort order (newest to oldest) of the written case notes by 'Created date' or 'Last edit date'.
