Getting a handle on substance use and criminal activities is a massive challenge for community-based offenders. KickStart programs deliver the strategies to meet those challenges. KickStart’s fundamental aim is to create meaningful behavioural change in community-based offenders. During the first pilots participants reported significant improvements in their emotional regulation (as measured by the DERS); and reduced criminal thinking (as measured by the PICTS).

The program offers several new features that streamline the administration and co-ordination side of group treatment, enabling clinicians to spend more time following up with clients and boosting engagement.

Each participant gets their own personalised management plan that is constructed through the exercises in the program. This is accessible via the secure client portal, and can be edited then signed via eSign before it is submitted.
